About me

I am a software engineer living in the Netherlands. I hold a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Engineering from Maastricht University. I also spent a year at RWTH Aachen University studying Software Systems Engineering.

I am a full-stack developer, but have mostly been focused on back-end work. I also have experience leading a development team, managing and implementing customer software projects, and designing software system components. I have worked on large long-running projects (~1M LoC, 20 years in use) and have started projects from scratch.

Services

You can hire me to help you design and implement your software project, either as part of a team, or independently. I have been using Java, C# and JavaScript professionally since 2015, but I'm familiar with other languages and am able to work with most. I'm mostly experienced in using relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server) but have used others in the past. For CI/CD and cloud services, I've used Azure DevOps and to a lesser extent AWS.
